This is How Nike Advertises in Asia

This video below shows how Nike loves to help spread the NBA empire around the world...selling millions of pairs of shoes in the meantime. Although if they are trying to sell shoes, i'm not sure why Nike didn't show the shoes in these ads. Maybe its because most the people who are watching this ad are doing so in the 2 hours of free time they have in between sleep and slaving away in some sweatshop. There is plenty of animated Garnett, Duncan, and J-Will to show why they are making the shoes and why they should buy them. I must say, that is some catchy hip hop they've created.

All in all, it kinda looks like a bad Saturday morning cartoon called like "Rappin' NBA Baller Superheroes!" or something. Maybe this isn't even an advertisement but a propaganda video shown inside their sweatshops motivating their employees to make shoes for these rapping superheroes.

this is so old. j will has been irrelevant after his first year in sacramento and duncan and kg have been with adidas for many years now.

It's funny that none of the players in those ads are still with Nike. TD and KG are both with adidas, and Williams is signed with And 1 I believe.

And none of them have been in a decent TV commercial since.

You mean those KG commercials where he is like "My team sucks balls and I am the man, time for me to get 'Angry!'" were no good? hah!

Get a clue. Chinese factory owners are notorious liars and will tell you one thing and do another. How are you supposed to police such a large supply chain? When they're not labeling industrial chemicals as safe for human consumption, they're refusing to pay workers' wages. Any interference from foreign buyers is shrugged off as "you foreigners always try to oppress us Chinese people - let us find our own way".

Oh, wait, nobody here has ever even talked to a Chinese factory owner. And I can't believe I'm offering support to a company that is all marketing and no product. Check out http://www.zonaeuropa.com/20051029_2.htm for an example of just how bad the problem is.
